IMPORTANT NOTICES ABOUT REGISTERING TO VOTE

Proof of Residency: For UMaine students living on campus, you can prove residency with a printout from MaineStreet showing your campus address. You will also need to attach other documentation to prove your identity—you can use a photocopy of your MaineCard for that, or the ID number from a Maine Driver’s License or State ID.

Re-Registering: If you are in a new dorm room, you have to re-register showing your change of address to your current residence hall even if you registered to vote in Orono in a previous year. Don’t know your residence hall address? UMaine UVote has a list. Go to the Center for Student Involvement in the Memorial Union, Room 145, for more information, or email [email protected]
